Whitford Wild Bird Care Centre

The Whitford Rescue Centre is a voluntary bird and wildlife centre and covers a large part of the Manukau area.  

We offer services to the community by way of advice, educational programmes through  schools and community groups.  We also invite individuals and groups who are interested in helping wildlife to visit our centre.

It is our aim be in a better position to care for injured and orphaned wildlife through recognized treatment and rehabilitation techniques.  This in turn would lead to timely and successful releases back into the wild.

For our centre to operate effectively we require support from members of the public and the business sector.  There are many ways in which you can help - volunteering your time or talents, fostering wildlife, donating supplies or making a donation.  If you are interested in assisting our centre please contact us.
